Welcome to Teacher Licensure

The Office of Teacher Licensure processes applications for teachers to become licensed to teach in Nevada public schools. The office is located in the Las Vegas regional office. In the Carson City office, staff receive applications and support materials and transmit them to the southern office for processing. In order to maximize time staff have to process license applications, guidance material is provided on this site including frequently asked questions. Specific, individual questions can be submitted to the office at License@doe.nv.gov.
